Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced SAP MDG Technical Senior Analyst with strong hands-on expertise in SAP Master Data Governance (MDG), ABAP and MDG technical development/configuration .

The candidate will be responsible for developing and configuring MDG solutions, supporting implementation and migration projects, troubleshooting technical issues, and translating business requirements into scalable technical solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop enhancements for SAP MDG applications .
• Configure and develop MDG solutions based on business requirements.
• Work on Data Modelling, UI Modelling and Process Modelling .
• Configure Change Requests , process steps and workflows.
• Develop and support data replication using ALE/IDocs and related techniques.
• Troubleshoot MDG errors and technical issues.
• Develop solution prototypes when required.
• Review, test and validate technical developments.
• Provide L2/L3 technical support for SAP MDG applications.
• Translate business requirements into detailed technical specifications.
• Support UAT, go-live and post-go-live activities.
• Work on master-data domains including Material, Customer, Vendor, GL, Profit Center, Cost Center and BOM .
• Support S/4HANA migration and related MDG activities.
• Provide technical guidance on SAP MDG capabilities.

• B.E. degree .
• 5–7 years of overall SAP experience.
• 4+ years of relevant SAP MDG experience .
• Hands-on experience in SAP MDG implementation projects .
• Experience with one or more MDG master-data domains.
• Experience supporting UAT and go-live .
• Knowledge of S/4HANA migration projects .
• Ability to convert business requirements into technical specifications.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work with business and technical stakeholders.

Preferred

• Experience across multiple MDG master-data domains.
• MDG technical architecture and solution prototyping.
• L2/L3 production support experience.
• Exposure to large-scale SAP transformation programs.
