Role Description: The Vice Principal is a full-time, on-site leadership role for our Legacy State Board School based in Tirupati, responsible for supporting the Principal in the overall academic and administrative management. The role includes overseeing daily school operations, supervising teaching and non-teaching staff, and ensuring adherence to academic standards, policies, and regulatory requirements. The Vice Principal collaborates on curriculum planning, classroom observation, and instructional improvement, while promoting inclusive, value-based, student-centered learning. Daily responsibilities include managing timetables and schedules, coordinating assessments and examinations, handling parent communication, and supporting student discipline and welfare. The Vice Principal also contributes to strategic planning, school events, staff development programs, and initiatives that strengthen the school’s culture and performance. We are strictly looking for candidates with an ex-military background and experience in school operations.

Qualifications

• Strong educational leadership abilities, including experience in academic administration, staff supervision, and school operations.
• Demonstrated skills in curriculum planning, classroom observation, and instructional support to improve teaching and learning outcomes.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with students, families, staff, and external stakeholders.
• Proven capacity in student discipline management, conflict resolution, and fostering a safe, inclusive, and value-based school environment.
• Organizational and time-management skills to handle scheduling, examinations, events, and multiple priorities efficiently.
• Experience with data-driven decision-making, including student performance analysis and continuous school improvement initiatives.
• Ability to mentor and develop staff through guidance, feedback, and professional development activities.
• Master’s degree in Education or a related field, with prior experience in a senior teaching or coordination role; previous experience as Vice Principal or similar leadership role is an advantage.
• Familiarity with Indian school education systems, relevant regulations, and best practices in inclusive and value-based education.
