Role Overview:- 

As a Senior Backend Engineer, you’ll lead the design, development, and optimization of scalable microservices and APIs that power our B2B and B2C products. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams to build systems that are robust, performant, and ready for scale. This is a critical role that requires engineering leadership, high ownership, and a product-thinking mindset.

What You’ll Do:-

● Architect, build, and deploy high-performance backend systems using Java (Spring Boot) for both our B2B and B2C platforms.

● Design and manage scalable microservices integrated with MongoDB, MySQL, Redis, and external APIs.

● Collaborate with product managers, designers, and frontend engineers to translate user needs into technical solutions.

● Lead code reviews, enforce engineering best practices, and improve system reliability and performance. ● Mentor junior developers and actively contribute to tech roadmap discussions.

● Own feature delivery end-to-end, including testing, deployment, and monitoring.

What You Bring:-

Core Technical Skills 

● 2–6 years of hands-on experience in Java backend development (Spring Boot, REST APIs). ● Strong fundamentals in data structures, algorithms, and system design.

● Proficiency with MongoDB, MySQL, and Redis (including caching, pub/sub).

● Working knowledge of Docker, Git, Maven, and CI/CD pipelines.

● Exposure to cloud platforms (GCP preferred) and container orchestration (e.g., Kubernetes).

Mindset & Traits:- 

● Product-first thinking; capable of balancing tech debt with business value. ● A strong sense of ownership and accountability.

● Comfortable working in fast-paced startup environments.

● A team player who mentors peers and uplifts the engineering culture. Bonus Points

● Experience with Kafka, Elasticsearch, or Kubernetes.

● Background in travel tech, fintech, or B2B SaaS platforms.

● Familiarity with GCP services like Cloud Storage, Cloud Functions, and Pub/Sub.
