Role Description The Assistant Fashion Designer will support the design team in conceptualizing and developing collections, from initial sketches to final samples. Day-to-day responsibilities include assisting with design research, creating and updating technical drawings, coordinating fabric and trim sourcing, and preparing mood boards and look-books. The role also involves working closely with pattern makers and production teams on fittings, sample corrections, and quality checks, as well as contributing to embroidery layouts and surface ornamentation concepts. This is a full-time, on-site role based in New Delhi, requiring close collaboration within the studio to ensure timely delivery of well-executed designs.

Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Fashion Design and Fashion concepts, with the ability to translate ideas into clear sketches and technical specifications.
- Hands-on skills in Embroidery and surface embellishment, with an eye for detail and craftsmanship.
- Knowledge of Fitting processes and garment construction, including working with pattern makers and tailoring teams.
- Understanding of Textiles, fabric behavior, and trims to support appropriate material selection for each design.
- Proficiency in design tools (e.g., Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop or similar), and basic CAD for fashion is an advantage.
- Diploma or degree in Fashion Design or a related discipline from a recognized institution.
- Strong organization skills, ability to manage multiple tasks and timelines, and openness to feedback and collaboration.
- Previous internship or experience in a designer label or fashion house is preferred.
