About the Role

Tivor Tech is looking for an experienced Medical Biller & Coder specializing in Personal Injury (PI) cases. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in PI billing, medical coding, and claim management while ensuring compliance with U.S. healthcare regulations and payer guidelines.

Key Responsibilities

• Review provider documentation for billing accuracy and completeness.
• Assign accurate ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS codes.
• Prepare, review, and submit medical claims in a timely manner.
• Manage accounts receivable and perform claim follow-ups.
• Resolve claim denials, rejections, and billing discrepancies.
• Coordinate with healthcare providers regarding documentation requirements.
• Ensure compliance with payer policies, HIPAA, and regulatory guidelines.
• Maintain billing reports, productivity metrics, and documentation.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in medical billing and coding.
• Strong knowledge of ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS coding.
• Experience with Personal Injury (PI) / Letter of Protection (LOP) billing is preferred.
• Hands-on experience with healthcare billing software and EMR/EHR systems.
• CPC certification is mandatory.

• Medical Spa Practices

Ideal candidates should have experience with:

• Personal Injury (PI) / Letter of Protection (LOP) workflows.
• Working with attorneys, case managers, and referral partners.
• U.S. healthcare EMR/EHR systems such as MYCA500, ChiroTouch, Kareo, AdvancedMD, Practice Fusion, eClinicalWorks, Athenahealth, or similar platforms.
• High-volume patient scheduling and follow-up.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
• Working independently in a professional office environment while supporting U.S. healthcare providers.
• Maintaining HIPAA compliance and handling Protected Health Information (PHI).
• Meeting productivity and quality KPIs in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
