Position: Accountant (Mid-Level Indian Accounting)

Location: Pakwan Cross Roads, Sarkhej - Gandhinagar Hwy, Ahmedabad,

Experience: 2+ Years

Employment Type: Temporary – 6 Months

Time: 3:30pm to 12:30am (Mon-Fri)

About Company

The company is a professional accounting and financial services organization providing accounting and related services to clients, including US-based clients. The role requires strong communication skills to coordinate effectively in a professional client-facing environment.

Responsibilities

• Handle day-to-day Indian accounting and bookkeeping activities.
• Maintain accounting records using Tally Prime and/or Zoho Books.
• Prepare and post sales, purchase, payment, receipt, and journal entries.
• Perform bank, ledger, and account reconciliations.
• Assist with GST, TDS, and other statutory compliance-related work.
• Prepare invoices and maintain accurate financial records.
• Coordinate with internal teams and US-based clients when required.
• Ensure timely and accurate completion of assigned accounting tasks.

Requirements

• B.Com / M.Com / CA Dropout.
• 2+ years of relevant experience in Indian accounting.
• Hands-on experience with Tally Prime and/or Zoho Books.
• Good knowledge of GST, TDS, bookkeeping, and bank reconciliation.
• Strong understanding of Indian accounting principles and processes.
• Fluent verbal and written English communication is mandatory.
• Candidates must be comfortable with a temporary 6-month role .
