Salary: $153,200 - 183,800 per year Requirements:

• Strong object-oriented C++ expertise, with confidence working in C++17
• Ability to produce clear, straightforward, and maintainable code
• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Robotics, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical discipline, plus 4+ years of experience demonstrating the relevant competencies and technical abilities; or
• Masters degree in Computer Science, Robotics, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical discipline, plus 0-3+ years of experience demonstrating the relevant competencies and technical abilities
• Experience working with Linux
• Commitment to first-time quality, punctual delivery, collaboration, and reliability

• Develop a world-class SDK and framework for composing and running applications that support our Virtual Driver system
• Write C++ code as part of the critical commercialization path
• Advance professionally in safety-critical robotics for level 4 autonomous class 8 trucking
• Investigate field issues from internal customers by reviewing logs, provisioning telemetry, creating tests, and implementing fixes
• Design solutions for embedded robotics challenges such as determinism, type safety, test coverage, CUDA, observability, telemetry, concurrency, synchronous and asynchronous execution models, execution graphs, throughput, and latency
• Work closely with colleagues across seniority levels and partner teams such as Feature Development and Hardware Acceleration
