We are located in El Paso, TX currently seeking highly motivated, experienced individuals to fill our Installation Technician positions. We are a rapidly growing company, come and join our team!Candidates should have experience, knowledge, and/or background in the following:Two or more years of experience as a technician Installing and configuring high-end audio, video, security systems, network, and/or home automation systems, pulling low-voltage cablingCrestron Certifications are preferred but not a requirementStrong understanding of signal flow and control systems for distributed audio, video, and home theater systemsStrong knowledge on using hand and power tools to complete extending and terminations of cables and coaxial, UTP cables, as well as the installation of equipment racks, speakers, displays, and security devicesAble to write & understand service reports for customers & office.Must be highly motivated and work well both independently and in a team environment.Advanced network installation and configuration experienceHigh ability to perform testing of cables and equipment to ensure proper termination and proper system performanceHigh ability to diagnose and troubleshoot problem installations at both system and component levelsAdvanced knowledge of construction techniques and wiring methods for new construction and retrofit residential projectsAbility to read and understand wiring diagrams, blueprints & schematics.Basic understanding of Central Video Distribution Systems such as HP Base T & MoIP.Basic understanding of Dante Audio Protocols & DSP Operation.Work with the Lead Installation Technician, or other co-workers to ensure the system is installed appropriately in the required timeframe.A strong work ethic with a dedication to learningThe positions we offer require attention to detail, client interaction, a professional work ethic, and a desire to constantly improve yourself. The technology we work with is constantly changing, so we must also adapt quickly to keep pace.Job Requirements:Must have a valid Driver’s License, social security card and/or birth certificateMust have a valid Texas Private Security Installer LicenseMust have reliable transportation to and from workMust be able to accurately keep track of time and materials following company standardsAll candidates are subject to a complete background checkAll candidates must submit a resume for review or will not be considered for employmentSalary shall be based on level of experienceMaintain physical condition appropriate to the performance of assigned duties and responsibilities which may include the following:Climbing, stooping, twisting, reaching above the shoulder and kneeling to perform, walking, standing and sitting for extended periods of time, pushing, pulling or lifting equipment and supplies occasionally weighing up to 30lbs.Exposure to dirt, toxic materials, air contaminants, extreme temperaturesPerform other duties as assigned by management.Experience:Custom Audio/Video: 2 years + RequiredSystems Integration: 1 year + RequiredJob Type: Full-timeSalary: $13.00 to $18.00 /hour
