Job Description

We are hiring an experienced Senior Heavy Vehicle Mechanic for a leading automotive/heavy commercial vehicle operation in Qatar. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in heavy vehicle repair, maintenance, advanced diagnostics, diesel engine overhaul, transmission, electrical, electronic and hydraulic systems .

The candidate must have hands-on experience with Mercedes-Benz Actros and should be capable of independently diagnosing and repairing complex faults across multi-brand heavy commercial vehicles.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform advanced diagnostics using OEM scanners, laptop-based diagnostic tools and multi-brand diagnostic equipment .
  
• Diagnose and repair complex mechanical, electrical and electronic faults in heavy commercial vehicles.
  
• Troubleshoot ECU, sensors, CAN Bus and vehicle electrical systems .
  
• Independently carry out diesel engine overhaul, repair and maintenance .
  
• Repair and overhaul gearbox, transmission, clutch, differential and driveline systems .
  
• Diagnose and repair hydraulic systems , including braking, steering and auxiliary systems.
  

Requirements

• Minimum 6 to10 years of overall experience in heavy vehicle repair and maintenance.
  
• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Senior / Independent Heavy Vehicle Mechanic .
  
• Proven hands-on experience with Mercedes-Benz Actros is mandatory .
  
• Experience with multiple heavy vehicle brands is highly preferred.
  
• Strong knowledge of diesel engines, transmissions, electrical/electronic systems, ECU, CAN Bus and hydraulics .
  
• ITI / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering / Automobile Engineering / Automotive Engineering .
  
• GCC experience is preferred but not mandatory .
