About the Role:

We are looking for a skilled SEO / GEO Content Writer who can create high-quality, search-optimized content that performs well across traditional search engines and AI-powered search platforms.

The ideal candidate understands SEO, Generative Engine Optimization (GEO), content strategy, keyword research, search intent, and AI-assisted content workflows . You will be responsible for creating content that is useful to readers, discoverable in search, and optimized for visibility across platforms such as Google and AI search engines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Research and write high-quality, engaging, and original content for websites, blogs, landing pages, and other digital channels.
• Develop content optimized for SEO and GEO , with a focus on visibility in traditional search and AI-generated answers.
• Conduct keyword research and identify relevant topics based on search intent, trends, competitors, and content gaps.
• Optimize content for primary and secondary keywords, headings, internal links, metadata, and other on-page SEO elements.
• Structure content to improve its chances of being referenced or surfaced by AI search engines and answer engines.
• Create content that demonstrates Experience, Expertise, Authoritativeness, and Trustworthiness (E-E-A-T) .
• Analyze competitor content and identify opportunities to create more comprehensive and valuable resources.
• Refresh and optimize existing content based on rankings, traffic, search trends, and performance data.
• Collaborate with SEO, marketing, product, and subject-matter experts to develop content strategies.
• Use AI tools such as ChatGPT and other content/research tools to improve research, ideation, outlining, and content production while maintaining originality and quality.
• Fact-check content and ensure accuracy, readability, grammar, tone, and brand consistency.
• Stay updated on Google algorithm changes, SEO best practices, AI search developments, and emerging GEO techniques.

Required Skills:

• Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
• Good understanding of SEO fundamentals and content optimization .
• Understanding of GEO / AI search optimization and how users discover information through AI platforms.
• Experience with keyword research and search intent analysis.
• Ability to write clear, engaging, and well-structured long-form content.
• Understanding of on-page SEO, internal linking, content briefs, title tags, meta descriptions, and heading structures.
• Familiarity with tools such as Google Search Console, Google Analytics, Ahrefs, Semrush, Surfer SEO, or similar tools .
• Comfortable using AI tools for content research and production.
• Strong research and fact-checking abilities.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 1–3+ years of experience in SEO content writing, digital content, or a related role.
• Experience creating content for SaaS, technology, B2B, finance, healthcare, e-commerce, or other specialized industries is a plus.
• Experience with content management systems such as WordPress.
• Understanding of structured data/schema, topical authority, entity optimization, and content clusters is a plus.
• Portfolio demonstrating SEO-driven content is preferred.
