Role Description The Academic Director/Principal (ICSE) at Chrysalis High is a full-time, on-site leadership role based in Bengaluru. The role involves overseeing the academic program in line with ICSE standards, leading curriculum planning and implementation, and ensuring high-quality teaching and learning across grades. The Academic Director/Principal will mentor and support educators, conduct classroom observations, and facilitate ongoing professional development. Responsibilities include monitoring student performance, coordinating assessments, engaging with families, and fostering a positive school culture focused on safety, inclusion, and holistic growth. The role also involves collaborating with management on strategic initiatives, compliance, and continuous improvement of academic outcomes.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Education and Teaching, with experience in ICSE school leadership or academic administration.
• Demonstrated expertise in Curriculum Development and Training of educators to maintain high instructional standards.
• Ability to conduct and apply Research to improve pedagogy, assessment practices, and student learning outcomes.
• Excellent skills in academic planning, school operations, and stakeholder engagement, including learners, families, and staff.
• Master’s degree in Education or a related field; formal teacher training and relevant certifications are highly preferred.
• Proven experience managing teams, resolving conflicts, and building an inclusive, child-centered school culture.
• Strong communication, organizational, and decision-making skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced school environment.
