As we scale our advisory and finance practice, we are looking for a CA Team Lead who can take ownership of client delivery, lead the finance team, and work closely with founders and senior management to deliver high-quality financial and advisory solutions.
Role OverviewThe CA Team Lead will be responsible for managing a portfolio of clients, reviewing financial and accounting work, ensuring statutory compliance, overseeing MIS and reporting, and guiding the internal finance team.
The ideal candidate should have strong technical accounting and taxation knowledge, excellent client-management skills, and the ability to independently handle complex finance requirements while building and mentoring a high-performing team.
Key ResponsibilitiesClient & Finance Management- Manage end-to-end finance and accounting requirements for multiple clients.
- Act as the primary finance point of contact for assigned clients.
- Review books of accounts, reconciliations, ledgers, and financial statements.
- Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing processes.
- Ensure timely and accurate preparation of P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow Statements, and MIS reports.
- Identify financial discrepancies, process gaps, and areas for improvement.
- Provide actionable financial insights to founders and management.
- Oversee GST, TDS, Income Tax, ROC/MCA, and other applicable statutory compliances.
- Review GST returns, TDS workings, tax computations, and related filings.
- Coordinate with external auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory authorities where required.
- Ensure clients remain compliant with applicable accounting and regulatory requirements.
- Support audits, due diligence, financial reviews, and other advisory assignments.
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of accountants and finance executives.
- Allocate client work and monitor deliverables, deadlines, and quality.
- Review and approve work prepared by team members.
- Establish SOPs and quality-control processes across client accounts.
- Train team members on accounting, compliance, reporting, and client communication.
- Take ownership of team performance and delivery standards.
- Work closely with founders/CXOs to understand their financial requirements.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, cash-flow planning, and working-capital management.
- Assist clients with financial planning and business decision-making.
- Identify opportunities for process automation and technology adoption.
- Support implementation and optimisation of platforms such as Zoho Books, Zoho Finance Suite, Tally, and other accounting/ERP systems .
- Contribute to Virtual CFO and strategic finance engagements.
- Build strong and long-term relationships with clients.
- Conduct regular finance review meetings with clients.
- Communicate financial information clearly to non-finance stakeholders.
- Handle escalations and ensure timely resolution of client concerns.
- Maintain high standards of professionalism, responsiveness, and confidentiality.
- Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) .
- 5–8+ years of relevant post-qualification experience.
- Strong experience in accounting, taxation, compliance, MIS, and financial reporting.
- Prior experience managing a finance/accounting team is preferred.
- Experience handling multiple clients or working in a CA firm, consulting firm, Virtual CFO setup, or finance advisory environment will be an advantage.
- Strong understanding of Indian accounting and taxation practices.
- Excellent command of Excel/Google Sheets and financial reporting.
- Experience with Zoho Books, Tally, ERP systems, or other accounting software is preferred.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- Ability to independently manage priorities and meet strict deadlines.
- Strong ownership mindset with a client-first approach.

Expected CTC: ₹15–25 LPA
Compensation will be based on experience, technical expertise, client-handling capabilities, leadership experience, and overall fit for the role.
