Field Services Engineer

<p><br /></p><p><b>About the Company</b></p><p>Smartfleet Services Pvt. Ltd. is seeking a dedicated and technically skilled Field Service Engineer to install, commission, maintain, and troubleshoot Intelligent Transport Management System (ITMS) equipment deployed across customer locations. The role requires extensive field travel, strong technical expertise in vehicle electronics, and excellent customer service skills.</p><p><br /></p><p><b>Responsibilities</b></p><ul><li>Install, configure, and commission Intelligent Transport Management System (ITMS) equipment at customer sites.</li><li>Perform preventive maintenance and breakdown support for installed systems.</li><li>Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware, firmware, electrical, and communication issues in the field.</li><li>Install and support devices such as GPS trackers, CCTV systems, Passenger Information Systems (PIS), Driver Monitoring Systems (DMS), Network Video Recorders (NVR), Mobile Data Terminals (MDT), and related vehicle electronics.</li><li>Verify wiring, connectors, power supply, CAN communication, RS232/RS485, Ethernet, and other communication interfaces.</li><li>Coordinate with customers to resolve technical issues within agreed service timelines.</li><li>Maintain accurate service reports, installation checklists, inspection reports, and customer sign-offs.</li><li>Escalate unresolved technical issues to the Engineering/R&amp;D team with detailed findings.</li><li>Conduct testing and validation after repairs or installations.</li><li>Ensure compliance with company quality, safety, and customer service standards.</li><li>Maintain service tools, testing equipment, and spare parts inventory.</li><li>Support software/firmware upgrades and system health checks at customer locations.</li><li>Provide technical guidance and basic user training to customer representatives.</li></ul><p><br /></p><p><b>Qualifications</b></p><ul><li>Diploma/B.E./B.Tech in Electronics &amp; Communication Engineering (ECE), Electrical &amp; Electronics Engineering (EEE), Instrumentation, Mechatronics, Computer Science, or a related discipline.</li><li>2-5 years of experience in field service, automotive electronics, ITS, industrial automation, surveillance systems, or embedded hardware support.</li><li>Fresh graduates with strong technical knowledge and willingness to travel may also be considered.</li></ul><p><br /></p><p><b>Required Skills</b></p><ul><li>Strong technical expertise in vehicle electronics.</li><li>Excellent customer service skills.</li><li>Ability to travel extensively.</li></ul><p><br /></p><p><b>Preferred Skills</b></p><ul><li>Experience with Intelligent Transport Management Systems.</li><li>Familiarity with various communication interfaces.</li></ul><p><br /></p><img src="https://www.jobg8.com/Tracking.aspx?Q5qtMpIwlbIs%2bV6kQesGDsMwXzLCgp%2bSe" width="0" height="0" />
