About the Role

The Company is in search of a Chief Data and Research Officer to provide strategic leadership in institutional data strategy, advanced analytics, and research. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing data infrastructure governance, coordinating analytics to enhance research capacity, and supporting strategic goals through integrated data insights. This role involves leading efforts to align data systems with institutional and statewide strategic plans, promoting data-informed decision-making, and ensuring compliance with privacy and security standards. The Chief Data and Research Officer will also be tasked with centralizing data and research services, developing and executing strategic plans, and serving as a key advisor on data strategy and research priorities. Applicants for the Chief Data and Research Officer position at the company must have a Master’s degree in a relevant field and a minimum of 7 years of leadership experience in data systems, institutional research, or analytics. The role requires a strong understanding of data governance, privacy regulations, and proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools.
