About the Role
The Company is in search of a Chief Data and AI Officer (CDAIO) to spearhead digital transformation, artificial intelligence, and data innovation within its construction organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading modernization initiatives that enhance operational performance, scalability, profitability, and competitive advantage. This executive role demands a results-driven individual with a proven track record in transformational leadership, technical expertise, and experience in scaling technology organizations within complex, multi-site operational environments. The CDAIO will be a strategic partner to the CEO, executive leadership, and the Board of Directors, driving the organization towards a digitally enabled, data-driven enterprise. Key responsibilities for the CDAIO include organizational leadership and talent development, strategic technology and business leadership, digital transformation and innovation, AI, data, and analytics leadership, enterprise systems and infrastructure management, and cybersecurity, governance, and risk management. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, with a Master's degree preferred, and at least 15 years of progressive IT leadership experience, including 10 years in senior or executive roles. Deep expertise in AI/ML, enterprise data platforms, analytics, and business intelligence is essential, as is a strong knowledge of cloud platforms and experience with enterprise architecture frameworks. The role also requires a candidate with a strong background in cybersecurity, IT governance, and risk management, and a proven ability to lead technology integration during periods of growth and change.
