About the Role

The Technical Designer/Developer will lead the design, development, testing, deployment, and support of Oracle Utilities solutions using CC&B, C2M, CCS, and MDM. The role requires expertise in RICE components, Oracle Utilities Application Framework, product architecture, data models, configuration tools, batch programming, algorithms, UI Maps, BO/MO, service and business scripts, BPA scripts, user exits, and web services. The candidate will prepare technical design documents and unit-test cases, guide environment patching and code deployment, resolve complex technical issues, mentor developers, and collaborate with functional teams and clients throughout the implementation lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, testing, deployment, and support of Oracle Utilities solutions using CC&B, C2M, CCS, and MDM.
• Prepare technical design documents and unit-test cases.
• Guide environment patching and code deployment.
• Resolve complex technical issues.
• Mentor developers.
• Collaborate with functional teams and clients throughout the implementation lifecycle.
• Supporting environment patching, code deployment, application security configuration, and post-go-live issue resolution.
• Leading and mentoring the development team while resolving technical issues during implementation and support.
• Evaluating technical solution options and coordinating with functional teams, client stakeholders, and SMEs.
• Ensuring deliverable quality, timely completion, documentation, and adherence to project standards and requirements.

Qualifications

• Relevant Experience 4-5 years
• Total Experience (Ex. 5-7 Years) 8- 10 years

Required Skills

• Oracle CC&B/C2M/CCS technical design and development
• Oracle Utilities Application Framework, product architecture, and data model
• Batch programming, algorithms, UI Maps, BO/MO, scripts, user exits, and web services
• Utility implementation experience across Power, Water, or Gas domains
• Java, Groovy, HQL, SQL, PL/SQL, and scripting languages
• Hibernate, WebLogic Server, and performance-management tools
• Exposure to regulated or deregulated utility markets in Australia or the United States

Preferred Skills

• Designing, developing, unit testing, and deploying Oracle CC&B/C2M/CCS technical solutions and RICE components.
• Preparing technical design documents based on functional specifications and completing required configurations and customizations.
• Supporting environment patching, code deployment, application security configuration, and post-go-live issue resolution.
• Leading and mentoring the development team while resolving technical issues during implementation and support.
• Evaluating technical solution options and coordinating with functional teams, client stakeholders, and SMEs.
• Ensuring deliverable quality, timely completion, documentation, and adherence to project standards and requirements.
