Senior Sales Consultant – Residential Interiors

Thachar Decors Pvt Ltd is a Chennai-based residential interior company with in-house design, manufacturing and project execution capabilities. We specialise in complete home interiors including modular kitchens, wardrobes, TV units, pooja units and customised interior solutions.

Role: Senior Sales Consultant – Residential Interiors

We are looking for a strong consultative sales professional who can independently handle qualified residential interior enquiries from first consultation to final closure.

Key Responsibilities

• Understand customer requirements, budget and project expectations

• Conduct consultative sales discussions and present suitable interior solutions

• Explain quotations, scope, materials and value proposition clearly

• Handle objections related to price, competitors, timelines and scope

• Follow up consistently and move enquiries toward closure

• Negotiate professionally while protecting company margins

• Coordinate with designers for layouts, presentations and client requirements

• Maintain accurate CRM updates and follow-up schedules

• Own monthly sales targets and conversion performance

• Build relationships with homeowners, architects, builders and referral partners

Preferred Candidate

• 2–6 years of B2C / high-ticket sales experience

• Experience in interiors, modular kitchens, furniture, real estate, home improvement or premium products preferred

• Strong negotiation and closing skills

• Good presentation and communication skills

• Comfortable handling ₹5L+ residential interior enquiries

• Strong follow-up discipline and CRM usage

• Ability to work independently toward monthly sales targets
