A nationally recognized AM100 law firm is seeking a General Liability Associate Attorney to join its Dallas office. This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney looking to gain hands-on litigation experience, work on complex defense matters, and grow their career within a collaborative and supportive environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage litigation matters from inception through resolution
• Handle discovery, depositions, motion practice, mediations, and trial preparation
• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and legal memoranda
• Appear at hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and other proceedings
• Develop litigation strategies and evaluate risk in partnership with clients and senior attorneys
• Maintain regular client communication and provide case updates and recommendations
• Collaborate on matters involving general liability, premises liability, transportation, personal injury, construction, and insurance-related claims

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school
• Active Texas bar admission
• 3+ years of litigation experience, preferably in defense litigation
• Experience handling general liability, personal injury, premises liability, construction defect, transportation, or products liability matters preferred
• Strong analytical, research, writing, and advocacy skills
