Join us and experience the difference.TitleMedical Assistant or Licensed Practical Nurse - Urgent Care ClinicSummaryThe Medical Assistant (MA) / Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) position participates in the delivery of patient care within the guidelines and policies of Northfield Hospital + Clinics. Carries out patient care tasks as directed by providers and nurses, maintains supplies and equipment, and accurately communicates with patients and all members of the healthcare team. This position provides age-specific and developmentally appropriate care for pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients.Key AccountabilitiesPrepares exam and treatment rooms prior to patient visit.Rooms patient and prepares patient for exams, tests and procedures. Obtains and accurately records necessary vital signs and physical measurements.Prepares, administers and records medications per policy and established procedures.Monitors provider orders to ensure orders are completed.Communicates pertinent information to providers and healthcare team.QualificationsNew grads encouraged to apply!Must be over 18 years of ageCurrent American Heart Association BLS for Healthcare Providers Certification (or obtained within six months of hire, company paid)Medical Assistant: CMA or RMA preferred.
