Oracle Health / Cerner Pharm Net | Medication Management | EHR Pharmacy
Deep Pharm Net expertise. Much broader ownership. Script Assist is looking for an experienced Oracle Health / Cerner Pharm Net specialist who is ready to take broader ownership of pharmacy technology, product decisions and customer delivery.
You may currently be a:
• Senior Delivery Consultant
• Delivery Consultant
• Pharm Net Consultant
• Senior Business Analyst – Pharm Net
• Pharmacy Module SME
• Functional Consultant
• Technical Lead – Pharm Net
• Application Consultant or Analyst
Your exact title is less important than what you have actually owned inside Cerner Pharm Net and medication management.
This is not a generic Business Analyst role and it is not simply another Cerner implementation assignment.
You will work directly with Script Assist’s Director of Pharmacy and become a senior contributor across our pharmacy technology, pharmacy workflows and pharmacy customers.
About Script Assist Script Assist is a UK healthcare technology company building software for complex private clinical services.
Our technology connects clinics, prescribers, pharmacies, patients and operational teams.
The pharmacy platform covers substantial operational complexity across:
• Prescription receipt and processing
• Pharmacist and clinical review
• Dispensing
• Medication and product data
• Inventory and stock
• Batch and expiry management
• Purchasing and supply
• Fulfilment and delivery
• Reconciliation
• Pharmacy work queues
• Roles and permissions
• Integrations
• Reporting
• Operational exceptions and live production issues
We need someone who understands how sophisticated pharmacy software actually works.
⚙️ Your Pharm Net expertise The strongest candidates will have several years of hands-on experience with Oracle Health / Cerner Pharm Net.
Your experience may include areas such as:
• Pharm Net configuration and build
• Pharmacy and medication workflows
• Medication orders
• Formulary and medication configuration
• Pharmacy verification
• Profiling and pharmacy queues
• Power Orders and Power Plans
• Order sentences
• Medication reconciliation
• e MAR / BCMA workflows
• Clinical rules and medication safety
• Roles, permissions and security
• Interfaces and integrations
• Workflow configuration
• UAT and testing
• Go-live and hypercare
• Upgrades and releases
• Production support
• Incident investigation and root-cause analysis
You do not need experience with every item above.
What matters is that you have gone deep enough into Pharm Net to understand why a medication or pharmacy workflow behaves the way it does.
Testing Pharm Net without understanding its configuration and workflow logic will not be sufficient for this role.
What you will own You will help Script Assist determine:
• What the pharmacy is trying to achieve
• How the pharmacy workflow should operate
• How the system should be configured
• Whether a problem is caused by configuration, workflow, data, integration or user process
• Whether something is a genuine software defect
• Whether the customer needs training or a different workflow
• Whether Product needs to change the platform
• What the correct product behaviour should be
• Which edge cases and pharmacy consequences need to be considered
You will work closely with Pharmacy, Product, Engineering, QA, Implementation and Support.
Your work will include:
• Understanding detailed pharmacy requirements
• Challenging requirements where appropriate
• Designing and improving workflows
• Translating pharmacy problems into clear product requirements
• Reviewing proposed system behaviour
• Supporting configuration decisions
• Defining or reviewing acceptance criteria
• Participating in UAT
• Validating fixes and releases
• Investigating difficult production issues
• Supporting implementations and optimisation
• Identifying recurring product problems
• Taking actions through to resolution
You should be able to move beyond:
“The customer has asked for X.”
and determine:
“This is the underlying pharmacy problem, this is why it is happening, and this is the right system response.”
Customer and stakeholder ownership This role will increasingly work directly with UK pharmacies and healthcare customers.
You do not need to arrive as an experienced Account Manager.
We are more interested in someone with exceptional pharmacy-system depth who can develop into broader customer ownership.
However, you should already be comfortable:
• Working directly with pharmacy or clinical stakeholders
• Running detailed workflow discussions
• Asking difficult questions
• Explaining system behaviour clearly
• Owning actions
• Challenging assumptions professionally
• Communicating issues and recommendations clearly
• Working independently on complex problems
Excellent spoken and written English is essential.
✅ What we are looking for You will typically have approximately 4–12 years of relevant healthcare technology experience , including substantial hands-on Cerner Pharm Net experience.
A brilliant 4 or 5 year specialist can be more interesting to us than someone with 10 years of generic healthcare IT experience.
We are particularly looking for:
• Deep Oracle Health / Cerner Pharm Net expertise
• Hands-on configuration, build or functional ownership
• Strong understanding of pharmacy and medication workflows
• Implementation, UAT, go-live or production experience
• Ability to diagnose complex system behaviour
• Strong analytical and product judgement
• Direct exposure to pharmacy, clinical or customer stakeholders
• Evidence of increasing responsibility or module ownership
• Excellent English communication
• Ability to work UK business hours from India
A B. Pharm, Pharm D, pharmacist or other pharmacy background would be valuable, but it is not mandatory if your pharmacy-system expertise is genuinely deep.
Experience with dispensing, inventory, stock, fulfilment or wider pharmacy operations outside hospital medication management would also be valuable.
Why this role is different If you already know Pharm Net deeply, this role gives you the opportunity to go much broader.
Instead of owning one module inside a huge EHR programme, you can increasingly influence:
• Pharmacy technology
• Product design
• Customer workflows
• Configuration
• Implementation
• Live operations
• Inventory and dispensing
• Integrations
• Product priorities
• Pharmacy customer relationships
You will work directly with our Director of Pharmacy and, for the right person, can grow into significant leadership responsibility across the Script Assist pharmacy function.
If you have become genuinely expert in Cerner Pharm Net and medication management and are ready for broader ownership, we would like to hear from you.
