Job Description Position Title: Program Manager Reports To: Founder's Office / CEO Location: Bengaluru, India Employment Type: Full-Time Role Overview We are looking for a Program Manager to own execution of technical programs end-to-end. This role is not a core engineering position you don't need to be the one designing the underlying technology but you must understand the technical landscape well enough to track progress accurately, ask the right questions, unblock teams, and translate between technical and non-technical stakeholders. High-level strategy will be set in partnership with the Founder's Office; your job is to take that strategy and drive it to execution, removing the burden of day-to-day program management from the founders. Key Responsibilities Own execution of program strategy set in partnership with the Founder's Office, translate high-level direction into structured plans, milestones, and deliverables. Track technical development against timelines; proactively flag risks, blockers, and slippage before they become critical. Serve as the primary point of coordination between engineering/tech teams and Business Development, ensuring commercial commitments and technical delivery stay aligned. Manage user interaction and stakeholder engagement across multi-technology, multi-stakeholder environments (e.g., defense, government, and international partners). Act as the anchor point for the program the go-to person for status, priorities, and decisions. Build sufficient technical fluency to communicate credibly with both technical teams and external stakeholders, without needing to be a subject-matter expert. Build and manage a team supporting the program, with a growth path toward leading a broader vertical and eventually a business unit. Required Qualifications Minimum 5 years of experience in program/project management, ideally within a technically complex domain (defense, aerospace, deep-tech, or similar). Strong technical fluency able to understand and engage with complex technical concepts without requiring a core engineering background. Proven ability to manage cross-functional teams and coordinate between technical and business stakeholders. Excellent communication skills, with experience engaging senior/external stakeholders (including defense, government, or enterprise clients). Demonstrated ownership mindset comfortable being the single point of accountability for a program's execution. Preferred Skills and Experience Experience managing complex hardware/software or multi-disciplinary technical programs. Prior exposure to defense, government, or multi-agency stakeholder environments (e.g., Navy, Air Force, Army, international partners). Experience managing and mentoring teams toward growth into leadership roles.
