Salary: $124,800 - 124,800 per year Requirements:

• We need at least seven years of substantial Accela Civic Platform experience across both administration and development.
• We need demonstrated ability to independently design and deliver complex Accela solutions from initial analysis through production release.
• We need advanced experience with Accela Automation administration and configuration.
• We need advanced EMSE and JavaScript scripting skills, including writing, reviewing, debugging, and refining complex scripts.
• We need strong experience with Accela workflow configuration, including task, status, assignment, event, and automation behavior.
• We need strong experience with Accela Citizen Access configuration and troubleshooting.
• We need strong experience with Accela Expression Builder and related form behavior.
• We need experience building or supporting integrations through Accela Construct APIs.
• We need advanced SQL Server and SQL query skills for troubleshooting, validation, reporting, and data analysis.
• We need experience developing and supporting SSRS reports.
• We need familiarity with Git or similar source-control practices.
• We need experience planning, testing, supporting, or remediating Accela Civic Platform upgrades.
• We need strong knowledge of municipal business processes, especially permitting, plan review, inspections, planning, code enforcement, business licensing, cashiering, and related agency operations.
• We need experience using Accela deployment tools and moving changes safely across development, test, UAT, and production environments.
• We need sound judgment, caution, and discipline when evaluating or releasing production changes.
• We need authorization to work in the United States without employer sponsorship.
• Preferred: Accela technical or functional certifications.
• Preferred: consulting experience or direct work with cities, counties, or other public-sector agencies.
• Preferred: experience with Power BI, GIS or Esri integrations, Accela data conversion, AWS or other cloud infrastructure, Tyler Munis, ProjectDox, or other electronic plan-review platforms.
• Preferred: South Florida residency and willingness to work onsite when needed.
• Preferred: experience mentoring developing Accela administrators, developers, or analysts through technical review and hands-on guidance.

• We analyze incoming tickets and business needs, ask the right technical questions, and design practical end-to-end solutions.
• We translate requirements into configuration, scripting, reporting, integration, testing, and deployment tasks.
• We perform complex hands-on Accela configuration and development when needed.
• We review other team members scripts, configurations, reports, and implementation choices for accuracy, maintainability, and unintended impact.
• We approve work for production and independently carry out controlled deployments using established tools and environment procedures.
• We confirm that testing evidence, dependencies, deployment steps, validation steps, and rollback considerations are sufficient before release.
• We troubleshoot difficult Accela issues across configuration, scripting, workflows, ACA, reports, data, and integrations.
• We reject or return work that is not adequately designed, tested, documented, or safe to deploy.
• We mentor three developing technical resources through reviews, technical guidance, and explanation of solution decisions without acting as their formal manager.
• We serve as the primary technical contact for assigned government clients and participate in status, support-prioritization, requirements, and technical meetings.
• We gradually lead requirements discussions and explain technical decisions clearly to both technical and nontechnical municipal staff.
• We own a service ticket or business need from problem assessment through production validation with minimal supervision.
• We recognize when a proposed solution is incomplete, overly risky, or inconsistent with the agencys broader configuration and business processes.

This is a senior technical role focused on independent delivery rather than project management, sales, or people management. We prefer candidates who can work onsite in South Florida and move into a hybrid setup after becoming familiar with our clients, systems, and team, although exceptionally qualified Accela professionals may be considered for remote work on a case-by-case basis. Remote team members may need to travel to South Florida or client locations for onboarding, critical meetings, implementation work, or other business needs.
