DutiesProvide expert legal advice and counsel, draft and review legal documentsincluding contracts, motions, pleadings, and legal briefs with clarity and accuracy.Conduct thorough legal research using LexisNexis and Westlaw to support casestrategies and ensure compliance with procedural laws.Prepare for trial by organizing evidence, developing case strategies, andparticipating in court depositions and litigation proceedings.Negotiate settlements and advocate effectively on behalf of clients in court orduring alternative dispute resolution processes.Manage legal case files efficiently using case management software; maintainmeticulous records of all case activities.Communicate clearly with clients to explain legal options, progress updates, andprocedural requirements while maintaining confidentiality.
Experience and QualificationsMinimum Five years of experience litigating in California state and federal courts.Preferably arbitration experience including drafting substantive briefs.Admitted to practice law in California.Juris Doctor degree from accredited ABA law school. Excellent academic record.Demonstrated ability to manage court depositions and trial preparation withconfidence and professionalism.Strong background in legal research utilizing LexisNexis and Westlaw platforms;familiarity with legal research methods.Experience drafting contracts and legal motions; adept at procedural lawknowledge and litigation strategies.Excellent negotiation skills with a record of successful client advocacy in complexcasesPrior work in a fast-paced law office environment managing multiple casessimultaneously while adhering to deadlines.Exceptional writing skills for clear legal drafting; proficient in legal research andcase management systems
