Department: Medical Services

Reports To: Medical Superintendent

Employment Type: Full-Time

• MBBS with MD in General Medicine / Internal Medicine (Mandatory)
• Valid NMC/State Medical Council Registration
• 3–5 years of experience in managing diabetes and general medical conditions
• Fellowship/Certification in Diabetology will be an added advantage

The Diabetologist / Physician is responsible for providing comprehensive medical care with a focus on the diagnosis, treatment, and long-term management of diabetes and associated lifestyle disorders. The role also involves managing general medical patients, promoting preventive healthcare, and ensuring evidence-based clinical practices.

• Diagnose and manage patients with diabetes, hypertension, and other lifestyle-related diseases.
• Conduct outpatient consultations and inpatient medical management as required.
• Develop individualized treatment plans and monitor patient progress.
• Educate patients on disease management, nutrition, medication adherence, and lifestyle modifications.
• Coordinate with dietitians, nurses, and allied healthcare professionals for multidisciplinary care.
• Maintain accurate medical records and clinical documentation.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, clinical protocols, and NABH standards.
• Participate in health awareness programs, CMEs, and community outreach initiatives.
• Provide emergency medical care and support when required.
