Construction Superintendent

We are a General Construction company specializing in all aspects of construction which includes but not limited to new construction, commercial and residential, renovations and remodeling projects. We also specialize in design build, construction management, project management, owners representative and consulting for various clients.

General Construction Company currently seeking a hardworking, dedicated and open minded Construction Superintendent to join our team with a minimum of:

2 years experience in a supervisory position in construction or 3 years experience in as a Commercial Construction Superintendent
Must know how to start a job from the ground up
Possess strong interior finishes skills
Must know how to read and understand plans. Also, must maintain as-builts on the record set of drawings
Must be computer literate
Must speak English and have good communication skills
Must know how to complete daily reports
Strong ability to problem solve
Must be able to manage and direct subcontractors and laborers for a smooth operation
Manage and coordinate various phases of construction with the trades
Must know how to develop a schedule and manage/update a schedule
Coordinate and schedule inspections with trades
In charge of overall job safety and cleanliness
Prepare agendas for weekly job meetings
Maintains logs and reports
