Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to direct the financial strategy, trade financing, and risk management of our global agricultural trading operations.
Core Responsibilities
- Trade Finance & Liquidity: Structure and optimize high-volume trade lines (LCs, Bank Guarantees, PCFC, Bill Discounting) and maximize multi-currency working capital efficiency.
- Forex & Commodity Risk: Lead FX hedging strategies (forwards, options, swaps) and manage MTM exposure, counterparty risk, and credit insurance (ECGC/private).
- Financial Strategy & Growth: Drive capital allocation, long-term financial modeling, debt/equity optimization, and expansion financing.
- Reporting & Compliance: Oversee GAAP/IFRS reporting, trade-level profitability MIS, transfer pricing, and GST/customs compliance.
- Logistics & Inventory Controls: Monitor bulk inventory valuation, transit stock, processing yields, and supply chain costs (demurrage, freight, port fees).
Key Qualifications
- Education: CA / CPA / CFA / MBA (Finance) from a premier institution.
- Experience: 12+ years in financial leadership, with 5+ years as CFO or Head of Finance in agro-trading, bulk commodities, or international trade logistics.
- Skills: Deep mastery of trade finance instruments, commodity price/FX hedging, and ERP/CTRMS systems.
