Job Description

Malik Brothers is a Lahore-based construction company delivering apartment and housing projects. We are seeking a Civil Engineer to support the planning, execution, and quality control of residential construction work at project sites in Lahore.

The successful candidate will coordinate with project teams and contractors to ensure work follows approved drawings, specifications, schedules, and safety requirements.

• Review architectural and structural drawings, specifications, and bills of quantities for constructability and coordination.
• Monitor day-to-day site activities, including earthwork, foundations, concrete, masonry, and finishing works.
• Check dimensions, levels, materials, and workmanship against approved plans and quality standards.
• Coordinate with supervisors, contractors, suppliers, and consultants to resolve site issues and maintain work progress.
• Prepare site reports, measurement records, work progress updates, and documentation of delays or changes.
• Support quantity estimation, material planning, work scheduling, and cost-conscious execution.
• Promote safe working practices and report non-compliance, defects, and technical risks for corrective action.

This is a site-based role in Lahore suited to an engineer who is organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable balancing technical requirements with practical construction needs.

Job Specification

• Working knowledge of civil engineering principles and residential construction methods, especially apartments and houses.
• Ability to interpret structural and architectural drawings, specifications, and construction details.
• Competence in site supervision, work measurement, material inspection, and progress monitoring.
• Understanding of concrete, reinforcement, foundations, masonry, and finishing quality checks.
• Familiarity with quantity takeoffs, bills of quantities, basic cost control, and construction scheduling.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD and Microsoft Office; familiarity with project planning tools is an advantage.
• Clear coordination and communication with site teams, contractors, consultants, and suppliers.
• Strong attention to detail, practical problem-solving, record keeping, and commitment to site safety.
