Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Sales Engineer role based in Hyderabad. The Sales Engineer is responsible for identifying and pursuing sales opportunities, meeting with industrial customers, and promoting Trelleborg Sealing Solutions. Daily activities include understanding customer requirements, providing product recommendations, discussing with principal, preparing quotations, and negotiating orders. The role involves offering technical support on product selection and applications, coordinating with internal teams for order processing, and maintaining accurate records of customer interactions and sales activities. The Sales Engineer is expected to build long-term relationships, achieve sales targets, and represent the company professionally in the field.

Qualifications

• Candidates possessing good application knowledge of bearings/ seals/ tools/ linear motion/belts along with contacts across all major industries in AP&TG like Cement, Pharma, Steel, Machine Tool, Packaging etc.
• Candidates with strong Sales Engineering and Technical Support skills, with the ability to understand industrial applications and recommend suitable products.
• Effective Communication and Customer Service skills to interact with clients, address inquiries, and maintain positive relationships.
• Solid Sales skills, including prospecting, negotiating, and closing deals in a B2B environment. Self-driven and be ready to work in a fast paced environment.
• Basic knowledge of seals or aligned products, and the ability to learn product specifications and industry standards.
• Relevant qualifications such as a diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical field are beneficial.
• Proficiency in MS Office, ability to prepare reports, and comfort with using CRM or similar tools are advantageous.
• Prior experience in industrial product sales or distribution, especially with seals or related products, is a plus.
