Role Overview

We are looking for a Team Lead – Website Development (Non-Coding) to oversee the end-to-end delivery of client website projects, from initial discovery and requirement gathering through development, quality assurance, and launch.

This is a non-coding leadership role focused on project management, client communication, team coordination, and ensuring websites are delivered on time and to a high standard. The ideal candidate should be comfortable working with designers, content teams, developers, SEO specialists, and clients.

Key Responsibilities

1. Client & Project Management

• Lead client onboarding and requirement-gathering sessions.
• Act as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the website development lifecycle.
• Understand client business objectives and translate them into actionable website requirements.
• Manage project timelines, deliverables, dependencies, and priorities.
• Track and report project progress using tools such as Trello, Asana, or equivalent platforms.
• Ensure timely communication and resolution of client queries or concerns.

2. Team Coordination & Leadership

• Lead and mentor a team of designers, content uploaders, and technical support professionals.
• Coordinate effectively between Design, Development, Content, and SEO teams.
• Allocate tasks and monitor progress to ensure timely project completion.
• Conduct sprint planning, project reviews, and retrospectives where required.
• Identify workflow gaps and implement improvements to increase team efficiency.

3. Website Execution & Delivery

• Oversee website wireframes, layouts, design approvals, and content implementation.
• Supervise the uploading and implementation of text, images, videos, and other multimedia content.
• Ensure website content and design are aligned with approved client requirements.
• Coordinate chatbot integrations, third-party plugins, and other website functionalities.
• Conduct end-to-end pre-launch QA.
• Ensure websites are responsive and function properly across different browsers and devices.
• Coordinate with technical teams to resolve bugs and functionality issues before launch.

4. CMS, Technical & SEO Coordination

• Coordinate domain registration, hosting setup, and CMS integration.
• Work with platforms such as WordPress, Webflow, and Wix .
• Collaborate with developers and technical teams on website-related requirements.
• Coordinate with SEO teams to ensure proper metadata, site structure, URLs, and on-page SEO implementation.
• Ensure websites meet basic technical SEO and launch-readiness standards.
• Monitor website performance and coordinate resolution of post-launch issues.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

• Client Satisfaction: Maintain CSAT above 90%.
• Project Timeliness: Target 95% of projects delivered within committed timelines.
• Website Quality: Maintain high website uptime and minimize critical post-launch issues.
• SEO Readiness: Ensure 100% of launched websites meet defined baseline technical SEO standards.
• Team Productivity: Improve project delivery efficiency and turnaround time consistently.
• Project Quality: Ensure deliverables meet approved requirements and quality standards.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience managing website development projects without hands-on coding.
• Prior team leadership or project coordination experience.
• Exposure to Agile methodologies and sprint-based workflows.
• Experience using project management tools such as Trello, Asana, Jira, ClickUp, or similar platforms .
• Experience working with cross-functional teams including Design, Development, Content, SEO, and Technical Support.

The ideal candidate is a strong communicator and organized project leader who can manage clients, coordinate teams, track deadlines, and ensure smooth website delivery without being responsible for coding. The candidate should be proactive, accountable, and comfortable managing multiple projects simultaneously.
