Mary Washington Healthcare is seeking a board certified/board eligible Neurointerventional Surgeon to join our growing neurosciences program. This opportunity combines a daytime outpatient clinic practice with a shared neurointerventional call schedule, allowing you to manage the full continuum of cerebrovascular care.

Position Overview

This is a unique opportunity for a fellowship-trained Neurointerventional Surgeon to provide both elective and emergent neurovascular care. Clinic responsibilities are performed during daytime business hours, while call coverage includes 24-hour availability for acute stroke and neurointerventional emergencies, including weekends and holidays on assigned call days.

Responsibilities include:

• Diagnostic cerebral angiography and endovascular interventions

• Evaluation and treatment of ischemic stroke and cerebrovascular disease

• Outpatient consultation and longitudinal patient management

• Interpretation of advanced neurovascular imaging

• Multidisciplinary collaboration across neurosciences, emergency medicine, critical care, and rehabilitation services

• Participation in quality initiatives, education, and program development

Qualifications

• MD or DO

• Board certified or board eligible in neurology, neurosurgery, or radiology

• Fellowship training in neurointerventional surgery or endovascular neurosurgery

• Eligible for unrestricted Virginia medical licensure

• DEA certification or eligibility
