3rd Shift CNC Machine Operator

Job DescriptionJob DescriptionJob Function Operates computerized lathes and machining centers. Essential Functions Follow prescribed Safety Regulations and immediately report any unsafe conditions to the Safety Coordinator. Ability to follow instructions, read and understand Attribute Sheets, gages, Work Instructions, set up sheets etc. Perform daily paperwork requirements and fill out timecards accurately. Ability to identify defects and understand the level of quality that the customer demands. Report any machine problems to supervisor immediately. Maintain housekeeping for machine and area at the end of your shift or before moving to another operation. Performs daily maintenance on machines. (i.e.-coolant, lube levels, remove and replace chip containers properly, etc.) Efficiently keep machine running and production consistent. Quality Policy Awareness and compliance with the company's employee handbook policies and procedures. Flexibility to work overtime as needed to meet production demands. Qualifications High school diploma or GED preferred Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions. Observing, receiving, and otherwise obtaining information from all relevant sources.
