Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced CNC Machine Operator to join a mattress spring manufacturing facility. This position is responsible for operating, monitoring, and adjusting CNC-controlled machinery used to produce metal springs and spring components for mattresses. The ideal candidate will have experience operating automated manufacturing equipment, performing machine adjustments, troubleshooting mechanical issues, and maintaining production quality standards.
Key Responsibilities: Operate CNC-controlled spring coiling and wire-forming machines used in mattress spring production. Set up and adjust machinery according to production specifications, including spring size, shape, tension, and coil count. Monitor automated equipment to ensure consistent production and minimize downtime.  Load and feed steel wire into machinery and verify proper material alignment. Read and interpret production orders, machine settings, and technical specifications. Perform machine adjustments and basic troubleshooting when production issues occur. Inspect finished springs for proper dimensions, shape, and overall quality. Identify defective products and make necessary adjustments to maintain quality standards. Perform routine preventive maintenance, including cleaning, lubrication, and basic equipment inspections. Monitor production output and maintain accurate production records. Follow all workplace safety procedures when operating machinery and handling metal materials. Maintain a clean and organized work area. Work closely with maintenance and production teams to resolve equipment issues and meet daily production goals. Qualifications & Requirements Previous experience operating CNC machines or automated manufacturing equipment. Experience with spring coiling machines, wire-forming equipment, or metal manufacturing is highly preferred. Ability to perform machine setups, adjustments, and basic troubleshooting.  Basic mechanical knowledge and understanding of machine operations. Ability to read measurements and use measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and tape measures. Ability to follow production specifications and quality control procedures. Comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Strong attention to detail and ability to identify equipment or product defects. Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive physical tasks. Willingness to work overtime or weekends based on production needs. Preferred Experience CNC machine operating Experience. Automated production lines and industrial machinery. Machine calibration, mechanical adjustments, and preventive maintenance. Experience working with steel wire and metal components. Ideal Candidate We're looking for someone who is mechanically inclined, comfortable working independently, and able to keep production equipment running efficiently with minimal supervision.
