Reggio's Treehouse is looking for an experienced and energetic person who enjoys thinking outside the box to join our team as a Childcare Cook / Float.
Responsibilities
Prepare and serve meals according to the menu and dietary restrictionsEnsure food is prepared and served in a timely mannerFollow proper food handling and safety proceduresCollaborate with the management team to plan and prepare new snacksMaintain a clean and organized work areaAssist with inventory management and ordering suppliesAdhere to all health and safety regulationsAssist in classrooms to cover ratios and lunch breaks
Qualifications
Required
High school diploma or GED equivalentWork experience in a licensed childcare facility or early childhood program
Preferred
Proven experience as a cook or in a similar roleKnowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary terminologyFamiliarity with menu planning and dietary restrictionsStrong understanding of food safety practicesAbility to work well in a fast-paced environmentAttention to detail and ability to follow instructions
