Senior GenAI Cinematic Artist Location: Hyderabad — On-site Employment Type: Full-time Experience Level: Senior About Us IV Media AI Studios is an AI-powered filmmaking and visualization studio creating cinematic content for films, advertisements, architectural visualizations, short-form narratives, and digital platforms. We combine generative AI with filmmaking craft, visual storytelling, and production-focused workflows to create compelling characters, environments, shots, and complete cinematic sequences. Our work is driven by artistic judgement and cinematic quality—not simply by generating attractive standalone images. Role Overview We are looking for a Senior GenAI Cinematic Artist with a strong visual eye, filmmaking sensibility, and demonstrated experience creating production-quality AI-generated images and videos. This is a creative filmmaking and visual-production role. You will work closely with directors, editors, and VFX teams to translate scripts, storyboards, references, and creative briefs into cinematic shots and coherent visual sequences. The role requires much more than prompt writing: you must understand cinematography, character performance, visual continuity, editing logic, physical motion, and narrative intent. Key Responsibilities Create high-quality, production-ready AI-generated images and videos for film, advertising, and media projects. Translate scripts, storyboards, shot descriptions, and directorial feedback into compelling cinematic visuals. Design characters, environments, compositions, camera angles, lighting setups, and action sequences. Build connected multi-shot sequences rather than isolated, unrelated AI clips. Maintain character identity, costume, environment, scale, lighting, and visual-style consistency across shots. Write, test, refine, and optimize prompts for image-to-image, text-to-image, image-to-video, and reference-based generation workflows. Direct believable character movement, camera movement, environmental interaction, and real-world physical behaviour. Identify and correct common generation problems such as morphing, anatomy errors, inconsistent faces, extra limbs, floating objects, artificial motion, continuity breaks, and visual artifacts. Composite, edit, upscale, retouch, colour-correct, and refine generated material into presentation-ready or production-ready outputs. Collaborate with directors, editors, designers, and VFX artists to achieve the intended emotional and narrative impact. Evaluate new generative tools based on their practical value for cinematic production. Required Skills A strong portfolio of cinematic AI-generated images, videos, or complete visual sequences. Advanced understanding of composition, lighting, framing, perspective, scale, colour, visual hierarchy, and storytelling. Strong knowledge of cinematography, including shot sizes, camera angles, lenses, camera movement, blocking, staging, and continuity. Hands-on experience with leading AI image and video-generation tools. Strong prompt-development and visual iteration skills. Ability to maintain consistent characters, costumes, props, environments, and visual styles across multiple shots. Ability to analyse why an output is failing and systematically improve it. Working knowledge of image editing, video editing, compositing, colour correction, and post-production tools such as Photoshop, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, Premiere Pro, or equivalent software. Ability to interpret creative feedback accurately and iterate without losing the original visual direction. Strong attention to anatomical correctness, motion quality, material realism, environmental physics, and cinematic detail. Ability to work efficiently within deadlines while maintaining a high visual-quality standard. Preferred Background Candidates from one or more of the following backgrounds are preferred: Filmmaking or cinematography Animation or VFX Concept art or visual development Storyboarding or previs Film editing or compositing Advertising-film production Game cinematics or virtual production Photography with strong AI filmmaking experience Formal qualifications are less important than the quality of your portfolio, visual judgement, and ability to execute cinematic briefs. Portfolio Requirements Applications without a relevant portfolio will not be considered. Your portfolio should ideally include: AI-generated cinematic video sequences Character-consistent shots across multiple scenes Examples of controlled camera movement and character action Before-and-after iterations showing how generation problems were corrected Environment, lighting, composition, or visual-development work Edited or composited final sequences rather than only raw generations Please clearly mention the AI and post-production tools used for each project. Team projects should specify your individual contribution. Work Location This is a full-time, on-site position at our Hyderabad office . Remote and freelance applications are not being considered for this role. Preference will be given to candidates who are available for an in-person interview and practical evaluation.
