About the Role As the Fundraising Manager at Umeed, you'll lead the charge in developing innovative fundraising strategies, nurturing donor relationships, and driving impactful campaigns to secure vital support for our programs. With your strategic vision and leadership, you'll play a pivotal role in empowering us to expand our reach and make a lasting difference. Key Responsibilities ● Developing Fundraising Strategies: Lead the development and implementation of comprehensive fundraising strategies aligned with organizational goals and priorities. ● Fundraising: Understanding and strategizing to raise funds as per the organization’s quarterly targets. ● Donor Cultivation and Relationship Management: Identify, cultivate, and manage relationships with individual donors, corporate partners, foundations, and other funding sources to secure financial support for the organization. ● Grant Writing and Proposal Development: Research funding opportunities, prepare grant proposals, and submit funding applications to secure grants from government agencies, foundations, and other grant-making organizations. ● Campaign Planning and Execution: Plan and execute fundraising campaigns and events to engage donors and raise funds for specific programs or initiatives. ● Financial Oversight: Monitor fundraising performance, track revenue goals, and analyze fundraising data to inform strategic decision-making and optimize fundraising efforts. ● Collaboration and Coordination: Collaborate with internal teams, including program staff and communications professionals, to align fundraising efforts with organizational objectives and ensure effective communication with donors and stakeholders. ● Team Leadership and Management: Lead and mentor fundraising team members, providing guidance, support, and professional development opportunities to maximize their effectiveness and performance. You’ll be a good fit if you ● Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in NGO or developmentsector Fundraising roles ● Strategic Thinking: Strong strategic planning and analytical skills, with the ability to develop and implement effective fundraising strategies to meet organizational goals. ● Relationship Building: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to cultivate and maintain relationships with donors, partners, and stakeholders. ● Writing Skills: Proficiency in grant writing and proposal development, with the ability to craft compelling narratives and articulate the organization's mission, programs, and impact to funders. ● Experience planning and executing fundraising campaigns and events, with a focus on engaging donors and achieving fundraising targets. ● Understanding of financial principles and budget management, with the ability to monitor fundraising performance and analyze fundraising data to inform decision-making.
