Role Description The Plant Tissue Culture Technician is a full-time, on-site role based in Kozhikode. In this role, the technician will perform plant tissue culture procedures, including media preparation, sterilization, explant handling, and subculturing under aseptic conditions. Daily tasks include monitoring cultures for growth and contamination, maintaining detailed laboratory records, and assisting with acclimatization of tissue-cultured plants to greenhouse or aquatic environments. The technician will operate and maintain laboratory equipment, follow standard operating procedures, and support quality control checks to ensure healthy, pest-free plant production. Collaboration with the cultivation and quality teams to optimize protocols and meet production targets is an essential part of the role.
