Salary: $100,000 - 150,000 per year Requirements:

• We require a bachelors degree in computer science, computer engineering, electrical engineering, software engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• We require at least 5 years of professional software development experience.
• We require at least 4 years of hands-on development experience with C/C++.
• We require experience developing software in Python.
• We require strong experience building embedded and distributed applications.
• We require experience designing software for systems with multiple interconnected devices and services.
• We require experience creating flexible, reusable system APIs for IoT, embedded, or large-scale distributed systems.
• We require experience developing applications that interface with Microsoft SQL Server or similar relational database systems.
• We require a solid grasp of software architecture, debugging, testing, and system integration.
• We require strong analytical and problem-solving ability.
• We require the ability to troubleshoot complex issues involving software, hardware, communications, and networks.
• We require the ability to quickly learn and support existing software and legacy systems.

• We design, develop, test, and maintain software used across our products and systems.
• We develop and maintain embedded and distributed software applications.
• We analyze system and software requirements and turn them into practical, maintainable technical solutions.
• We perform technical and software risk analyses and define mitigation strategies.
• We build software with strong forward and backward compatibility to support multiple product generations.
• We develop robust cross-product testing, integration testing, and validation procedures.
• We design and maintain flexible, reusable APIs for embedded, IoT, and distributed systems.
• We develop and maintain applications that interface with SQL Server databases.
• We participate in software architecture, design reviews, code reviews, testing, and system integration.
• We diagnose and resolve complex software, hardware-interface, network, and system integration issues.
• We work closely with Customer Support Engineers to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues at customer sites.
• We provide engineering support for deployed products, including root-cause analysis and corrective actions.
• We create clear technical documentation for software architecture, APIs, interfaces, configuration, testing, and troubleshooting.
• We collaborate with software, hardware, systems, and support engineers throughout the product lifecycle.
• We maintain and improve existing products while contributing to future-generation systems.
