Senior Design Engineer

Department: Design & Engineering

Reporting To: Design Manager

Location: Vadodara

Experience: 6–10 Years

Job Purpose:

To prepare, review and release engineering designs, 2D/3D models, fabrication drawings

and ERP/Manual BOMs for industrial process equipment while ensuring compliance with

SAT India SOPs, quality standards and project timelines.

Key Responsibilities:

 Prepare/review 2D & 3D drawings.

 Prepare engineering calculations as applicable.

 Generate Manual BOM and ERP BOM.

 Maintain drawing and BOM revision control.

 Coordinate with PPC, Purchase, Production, QC, Stores and Projects.

 Resolve manufacturing and site design queries.

 Ensure SOP compliance before drawing/BOM release.

Software Skills:

 SolidWorks

 AutoCAD

 ERP

 Microsoft Excel

 Inventor/Creo (Preferred)

Key Performance Indicators:

KPI Target

Drawing release on time ≥95%

BOM accuracy ≥98%

ERP BOM accuracy ≥98%

Design errors ≤2%
