The Role

CAA seeks a Production Project Manager for our in-house Creative Services department. In this role, they will report to the Head of Project Management and support all incoming requests and processes for the design, editing, branding, and production teams with a focus on Production. The Project Manager will be responsible for liaising with assistants, agents, partners, clients, and vendors to support a wide range of internal and external business needs.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, organize, and control resources, procedures and timing for administrative and business needs

  • Liaise with colleagues, clients and vendors via email, call, and meetings to review project briefs and details, and to determine process needs

  • Set kick-off calls and communicate project details to the appropriate creative teams and support the Head of Project Management

  • Research, analyze, conceptualize and articulate workflow improvements, adapting to any special needs or considerations from internal and external clients

  • Organize project teams, assign individual responsibilities, develop project schedules and determine resource requirements for day-to-day work

  • Identify and resolve obstacles to completing projects on time

  • Function as creative support when needed in the areas of production, editing, design, and branding/identity development

  • Uphold and enhance CAAs brand standards

  • Maintain list of vendors worldwide in the fields of videography and photography

  • Engage directly with Agency clients on production, editing, branding and design projects, as requested by the Head of Project Management

  • Stay up-to-date on latest project management and creative trends and applications to continually improve skills Maintain organized archives

  • Managing on-site production needs, including picking up and dropping of gear, location scouting, initial test photography

  • Ability to manage multiple, interrelated projects (including business transformation projects) at the same time

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in film production, communication, graphic design, or other media-related degree or relevant work experience

  • 4-6+ years of professional experience working in a creative environment such as a production company, agency, or in-house creative department

  • Experience on set for video shoots, photo shoots, live productions

  • Experience managing multiple, long-term and short-term projects

  • Ability to give and receive feedback

  • Working knowledge of project management systems and workflows, particularly Asana.

  • Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite and production/design/editing language

  • Understanding of workplace relationships, politics and navigating different personalities

  • Eye for detail, ability to carefully cross-reference notes to deliverables

  • Excellent communications skills, including the ability to convey creative concepts

  • Positive, hard-working, can-do client service attitude

Location
This role will be based in our Los Angeles, CA office.

Compensation

The annual base salary for this position is in the range of $ 86,000 - $105,000 . This position also is eligible for benefits and discretionary bonus. Ultimately, the salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, business sector, and geographic location, among other criteria.
