About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Quality Control Engineer – MEP to monitor and ensure the quality of MEP installation and execution throughout the project lifecycle. The candidate will ensure that MEP works comply with approved drawings, specifications, method statements, applicable standards, and project quality requirements .

Strong practical knowledge of HVAC and Fire Protection systems is mandatory.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and control the quality of MEP works throughout project execution.
• Inspect MEP installations against approved drawings, specifications, method statements, and applicable standards .
• Conduct quality inspections for HVAC, Fire Protection, Electrical, Plumbing/Piping, and other MEP services .
• Identify non-conformities (NCRs) and coordinate corrective actions until closure.
• Review material submittals, inspection requests, ITPs, checklists, method statements, and quality documentation .
• Monitor workmanship and installation practices and ensure timely rectification of defects.
• Coordinate with site engineers, contractors, consultants, and project teams to resolve quality-related issues.
• Maintain inspection records, quality reports, checklists, NCR records, and project documentation .
• Support internal and external quality audits .
• Ensure compliance with project quality procedures, technical specifications, and standards .

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering, MEP Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 5–10 years of relevant MEP QA/QC or Quality Control experience .
• Strong practical and hands-on knowledge of MEP systems .
• Very strong practical experience in HVAC systems – mandatory.
• Strong experience in Fire Protection / Fire Fighting systems – mandatory.
• Good knowledge of Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing/Piping (MEP) services.
• Experience in MEP installation inspection and interpretation of technical drawings and specifications.
• Strong knowledge of NCR handling, corrective actions, inspections, and quality documentation .
• Good understanding of site execution and MEP quality requirements .
• Strong coordination and communication skills.
• Experience in construction, infrastructure, airport, or large-scale projects will be preferred.
