Shift: 5:30 PM - 6:00 AM

Experience:

• 2 years of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• Experience with Cerner is preferred.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a license (required for submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Local & travel allowed.

• Flu vaccination required after submission. Religious, medical, and personal declinations accepted.

• Anyone who worked as Staff at a facility in this program in the last 12 months cannot be submitted.

• Anyone who worked as Per Diem at a facility in this program in the last 12 months cannot be submitted.

• Anyone currently working at a facility in this program cannot be submitted.

Additional Details:

References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years.

You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.

IU Health will not allow IN RN’s to work at their facilities. Exceptions include: Periop/OR RN’s, Allied and Ambulatory RN travelers are exempt from this rule. Periop includes ENDO, IR RN, PACU, Cath Lab RN, SDS

Required Skills/Experience: Airway management, medication administration, vent management, ABGs, O2 therapy, suction, pulmonary toileting, nebulizer, BiPAP, and CPAP are required. Candidates may be screened with 18 months of experience in NICU, pediatric acute care, or adult acute care. Recent NICU experience is required.

Preferred Skills/Experience: Experience in trauma, teaching hospital, or ER settings preferred. Experience with bronchoscopes preferred.

Required Credentials: Education must be from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program.

Unit Details: Unit coverage includes general care, NICU, pediatrics, and adult intensive care. NICU coverage includes attending high-risk deliveries. Patient population includes neonates, infants, pediatric patients, adolescents, and adults. Equipment includes Hamilton G5 and Philips V60.

Shift & Scheduling: Every other weekend. Holidays as required.

Floating Requirements: Travelers must float between NICU, pediatric acute care, and adult acute care; floating is required.

5 days maximum time off. Facility holidays: 11/26/2026, 12/25/2026, 01/01/2027. Number of holidays allowed off: 1

2 Manager references required from within the last 3 years
