Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM

Experience:

• 2 years of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• 2 years of Respiratory Unit experience.

• Experience with Cerner is preferred.

• Experience with Epic is preferred.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a license (required after submission).

• This role will require floating to multiple units

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >65 miles from facility to be submitted.

• Flu vaccination required for submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• Anyone who worked as Staff at a facility in this program in the last 6 months cannot be submitted.

• Anyone currently working at a facility in this program cannot be submitted.

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience: First-time travelers are accepted with at least 2 years of experience and Cerner or Epic (EMR) experience. Two years in a level 3 NICU. Must be able to work independently in a level 3 NICU. The clinician could be the only NICU RRT on nights.

Preferred Skills/Experience: NICU transport experience preferred.

Preferred Credentials: RRT is preferred, but CRT will be considered with at least 2 years of experience.

Unit Details: Adult work includes general and critical care. NICU work includes ground transports and nitric oxide administration. Patient ratios depend on staffing. Uses Omnicell for medication dispensing. Equipment includes Spacelabs monitors; PB 840, PB 980, Drager VN500, LTV, and Airvo ventilators; and a 3100A oscillator.

Shift & Scheduling: Weekend rotation is every other weekend. Call is voluntary. The holiday expectation is one major and one minor seasonal holiday per policy.

Floating Requirements: Floating is to any like unit or patient location; NICU therapists will also work with adults.

7 days maximum time off. • BLS (Basic Life Support)
