Role Description The Regional Finance & Asset Controller is a full-time on-site role based in Bengaluru. This role is responsible for overseeing regional financial operations, including preparation, review, and analysis of financial statements and reports, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely submission. The position involves managing asset registers and tracking fleet-related investments, monitoring utilization, depreciation, and returns, and coordinating with operations teams to align financial performance with business objectives. The Regional Finance & Asset Controller will implement internal controls, support budgeting and forecasting, monitor regional cash flows, and provide data-driven insights to leadership for decision-making. The role also includes collaborating with auditors and cross-functional stakeholders, optimizing financial processes, and supporting the expansion of GBG EV’s regional fleet and investment activities.
Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Finance and Analytical Skills to manage regional financial performance and support data-driven decision-making.
• Candidates should possess experience in Financial Statements and Financial Reporting to ensure accurate, compliant, and timely documentation of regional results.
• Candidates should possess solid Accounting knowledge to oversee asset management, reconciliations, and adherence to relevant standards and policies.
• Relevant experience in finance or accounting roles within asset-heavy, fleet, logistics, or mobility businesses is beneficial.
• A bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, or a related field is required; professional certifications (e.g., CA, CMA, CPA, or equivalent) are an advantage.
• Proficiency in financial software and ERP tools, advanced Excel skills, and familiarity with MIS reporting are highly desirable.
• Strong attention to detail, ownership mindset, ability to work on-site with cross-functional teams in Bengaluru, and clear written and verbal communication skills are expected.
