Level 1 Telecom Technician

Key QualificationsOSHA 10 or willing to get itAbility to lift up to 75 pounds and work at heights, in confined spaces, and in physically demanding environments.Ability to follow safety procedures, work under supervision, and collaborate with a team.Previous construction, electrical, or telecommunications experience preferred.Basic familiarity with tools and mechanical equipment preferred.
Key ResponsibilitiesAssist senior technicians with Central Office decommissioning and equipment removal.Support approved Method of Procedures (MOPs) under supervision.Help remove telecom equipment, including bays, cabinets, relay racks, and transport equipment.Assist with cable mining, identification, tracing, labeling, and removal of abandoned fiber, copper, and coax cables.Support dismantling overhead infrastructure, palletizing equipment, and sorting recyclable materials.Maintain a clean, organized, and safe worksite.Participate in safety briefings and follow OSHA standards and company policies.
