Pre-Press Graphic Designer

J.K. Burad Offset is a leading heat transfer label and garment embellishment manufacturer, trusted by premium apparel brands. We’re looking for a detail-obsessed Pre-Press Designer to join our production team.

What you’ll do

• Prepare print-ready artwork for heat transfer labels — color separations, spot color creation, and film output

• Convert brand artwork into production-ready files with correct trapping, bleed, registration marks, and imposition (step-and-repeat)

• Match and manage Pantone / spot colors across silicon HD, CMYK transfer, metallic foil, and flock processes

• Coordinate with the production floor to resolve pre-press and print quality issues

• Maintain artwork libraries and ensure files meet client and compliance specifications

What we’re looking for

• 2+ years in pre-press / graphic design, ideally in heat transfer, screen printing, or label/garment printing

• Strong hands-on skills in Adobe Illustrator and CorelDRAW

• Solid understanding of color separation, spot vs. process color, and screen printing pre-press

• Sharp eye for color accuracy and registration

• Ability to work to tight deadlines with a quality-first mindset

Bonus points

• Experience with automation/scripting (Illustrator ExtendScript, CorelDRAW VBA)

• Familiarity with garment embellishment processes and Pantone TCX color systems
