Music teacher

Delhi Public School Aerocity is looking for a passionate and experienced Music Teacher to join our academic team.

Key Responsibilities

Teach music to students from Grade 1 to Grade 10. Plan and deliver engaging and age-appropriate music lessons. Train students in vocal and/or instrumental music. Prepare students for school assemblies, annual day, competitions, cultural events, and other performances. Identify and nurture students with musical talent. Organize and coordinate music-related activities and events. Maintain discipline and create a positive learning environment. Collaborate with teachers and school management for various school programmes. Maintain musical instruments and other resources responsibly.

Candidate Requirements

Bachelor's/Master's degree or relevant qualification in Music. 2 to 6 years of relevant teaching experience, preferably in a reputed school. Strong knowledge of vocal and/or instrumental music. Excellent communication and classroom management skills. Ability to engage and motivate students across different age groups. Experience in preparing students for performances and competitions will be an added advantage. Candidates who can join immediately or within 1 month will be preferred.
