Role Description This is a full-time hybrid role for a Speech and Language Therapist based in Bengaluru South, with a combination of on-site work at the centre and some work-from-home flexibility. The therapist will conduct assessments of speech, language, and communication skills, develop individualized therapy plans, and provide one-to-one and small group interventions. Day-to-day tasks include documenting progress, preparing therapy materials, collaborating with psychologists, educators, and other allied health professionals, and offering guidance to families and caregivers on home-based strategies. The role also involves participating in case discussions, maintaining accurate clinical records, and contributing to awareness or training programs related to communication and language development. Qualifications Strong foundation in Speech Therapy, including assessment and intervention across age groups. strong foundation in assessing and diagnosing root causes for language, speech, and communication disorders using neurophysiology and neuroscience equipments (both peripheral and central auditory & speech pathways) Ability to address Speech and Communication Disorders through individualized and evidence-based approaches. Knowledge and experience in managing Language Disorders in children and adults. Experience or training in working with Dysphagia, including screening and basic management strategies, is an advantage. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or equivalent from a recognized institution. Registration or eligibility for registration with relevant professional or regulatory bodies, as applicable. Strong documentation, organizational, and case management skills, with attention to detail and ethical practice. Ability to communicate clearly and empathetically with clients, families, and multidisciplinary team members. Comfort working in a hybrid model, with reliability in both in-person and remote service delivery. Prior experience in rehabilitation, developmental centers, hospitals, or schools is preferred but not mandatory for promising early-career professionals.
