Central Australian Aboriginal Congress is seeking a Graduate Occupational Therapist to join its multidisciplinary Allied Health team in Alice Springs. This is an exciting opportunity to develop your clinical skills while working within a culturally safe, community-controlled health service, with strong supervision and support from experienced clinicians.

The role:

• Provide person-centred, evidence-based Occupational Therapy services. 

• Support clients to build independence, function and wellbeing across home, family and community settings. 

• Work across programs including NDIS, Commonwealth Home Support Program (CHSP) and Chronic Conditions. 

• Collaborate with Aboriginal Health Practitioners, Allied Health Assistants, nurses, GPs and other allied health professionals. 

• Participate in clinical supervision, professional development and multidisciplinary care planning. 

• Contribute to culturally responsive and strengths-based practice. 

• Occasional remote travel may be required. 

About you:

• Bachelor of Occupational Therapy (or equivalent) and current AHPRA registration. 

• A genuine interest in working with Aboriginal communities and developing culturally safe practice. 

• Strong communication, teamwork and relationship-building skills. 

• Flexible and community-focused approach to service delivery. 

• Willingness and ability to travel to remote locations. 

• Current NT Driver Licence or ability to obtain.
