Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Data Engineer to design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and infrastructure that support business intelligence, analytics, and data-driven decision-making. The ideal candidate will have experience working with large datasets, cloud platforms, and modern data technologies to ensure efficient data collection, storage, and processing.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT data pipelines.
• Develop and optimize data models, databases, and data warehouses.
• Integrate data from multiple sources and ensure data quality and consistency.
• Collaborate with data analysts, data scientists, and business stakeholders to understand data requirements.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and improve data pipeline performance and reliability.
• Implement data governance, security, and compliance standards.
• Manage cloud-based data solutions and storage systems.
• Automate data processing workflows and reporting solutions.
• Create and maintain technical documentation for data architecture and processes.
• Support real-time and batch data processing initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in data engineering or a related role.
• Strong proficiency in SQL and database technologies.
• Experience with Python, Java, or Scala.
• Hands-on experience with ETL/ELT tools and data integration frameworks.
• Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and dimensional modeling.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Familiarity with big data technologies such as Apache Spark, Hadoop, Kafka, or Databricks.
• Understanding of data governance, security, and best practices.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery, or Synapse Analytics.
• Knowledge of orchestration tools such as Airflow or Prefect.
• Relevant cloud or data engineering certifications.
• Experience supporting machine learning or advanced analytics workloads.
