Aero Design & Development Engineer II

Seeking an Aero Design & Development Engineer II who designs drones. The role focuses on the hands-on design and development of quadcopters and other multi-rotor UAVs , from concept through to a flying prototype. CFD or analysis skills are a bonus, but the main requirement is someone who understands drones and drone design. Key Responsibilities: Design quadcopters and other multi-rotor UAVs, including airframe layout and overall configuration. Carry out the calculations to confirm the motors are suitable for the application and the propellers can generate the required lift. Build, assemble, and iterate physical prototypes. Optimise component placement and centre of gravity (CG); integration is handled by the drone team. Plan and carry out bench and flight tests, and tune the platform. Docu
